The Jewish Center for Business Development was founded in 1992 with the goal of helping members of the Baltimore Jewish community establish, maintain or expand their businesses or professional services. We offer guidance and advice through our free one-on-one mentoring service to existing companies, especially those having difficulty or seeking to expand, as well as those individuals seeking to start new ventures. Since our inception, over three hundred people have been helped. Our volunteer mentors are active or retired executives from varied business backgrounds. A non-profit organization, the JCBD offers its services to the community at no charge. JCBD mentoring services include:
